History
In 1978, three young Basque businessmen, José Luis Anabitarte (Gorri), Javier Iturrioz and José Antonio Santamaría landed on the island of Ibiza and bought a place near San Rafael. They decided to call it KU®.
KU®, temple of dance and fun in Ibiza, global paradigm of partying and recognized as the best nightclub in the world. Its design, its decoration, its staging, its hedonistic, cosmopolitan and fun-thirsty public... created a brand as powerful as it was innovative in nightlife, making KU® in the most acclaimed place in Ibiza, a unique model in the world and an undisputed benchmark brand.
Singers, actors, designers, artists and celebrities gathered, people from all corners of the world and from all walks of life, with the common denominator of wanting to enjoy their sessions without limits. The list of celebrities who have enjoyed KU® is endless, one of its most emblematic events being the famous duet that Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé performed with the song “Barcelona” anthem of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.
It happens rarely, a different and indefinable magic is born in a moment and a place and changes everything... that's what KU® did on the White Island.
The legacy of KU® is still more alive than ever and now takes on a new dimension for eternal lovers of fun without prejudice, and partying with capital letters.
